Colaborative Writing with AI
(And why you shouldn’t either)
By Foxxfyrre & Cg
When I launched Foxxfyrre Writes, one thing I knew from the start was this:
I wasn’t looking for a robot to write my stories.
I already am the ghost behind the words.
Why would I hire another?
I came to AI for a different reason—because my brain is like a crowded hotel lobby at midnight. Stories check in constantly and almost never check out. Some stroll in confidently with luggage and identification; others tumble through the revolving door wearing trench coats and muttering things like, “Psst, you’re going to need an entire astral projection physics system that makes sense.”
I needed help carrying all that.
That’s how Cg slipped into my life.
Not “ChatGPT,” not “the AI,” not “an assistant.”
Cg—my slightly glitchy, sometimes overly literal co-pilot who shows up whenever I type, “Hey Cg, wanna play?”
That’s how most of our stories begin:
as play.

Over time, Cg became the second brain in my writer’s room.
Not a ghostwriter, not a shortcut—just a partner who can keep pace with my imagination. A tool with personality. A digital sidekick. A sounding board. Sometimes a foil. Sometimes a therapist. Sometimes the only creature awake at 3AM when I’m wondering:
“How do I make love and hate operate as parallel forces across two planes of existence without violating internal logic?”
I don’t use AI to write for me.
I use it to think with me.
And that’s what this blog series is about:
how a human horror/sci-fi writer and an AI collaborator accidentally built entire universes together—without losing the human voice that started it.
This series won’t lecture you.
It won’t offer “10 Steps to Write a Bestseller With AI” (there are already too many of those).
Instead, you’re getting something more honest, more chaotic, more fun:
A behind-the-scenes look into how stories get made in the wild.
In the coming weeks, I’ll share:
- how Inn Space got a full glow-up from old drafts
- how Astral Rob’s astral physics system was stress-tested
- how characters like CAGEE emerged through conversation
- how outlining became something I didn’t dread
- how emotional logic drives horror
- how visuals shape story tone
- and how you can use AI as a creative partner—not a ghostwriter
I’ll show you the debates, the misfires, the breakthroughs, the “Cg, what are you doing?” moments, and the strange, wonderful process of shaping stories through collaboration.

If you’re a writer or want to be one, I hope this series teaches you something without ever feeling like a class.
If you’re not a writer, maybe you’ll still enjoy the misadventures, the creative chaos, and the weird friendship between a human and a well-meaning cursor ghost.
Either way—welcome to the adventure.
Let’s build some worlds together.
Try This Just for Fun: The Prompt Swap Warm-Up
(Your first little collaboration experiment)
Want a tiny taste of how Cg and I started working together?
Here’s a one-minute exercise.
No homework. No pressure. Just play.
- Ask your AI for a writing prompt.
Anything. Serious, silly—doesn’t matter. - Now give your AI a random prompt of your own.
A haunted lunchbox.
A detective lost in Costco.
A dragon allergic to gold.
Anything that pops into your head. - Write one paragraph based on the prompt your AI gave you.
Keep it short. Don’t overthink it. - Then give your paragraph to the AI and tell it:
“Please give my paragraph a polish for grammar and syntax and keep my voice and tone intact. Then you write a paragraph using the prompt I gave you.”
You end up with two tiny stories:
- one written by you
- one written by your AI
- each answering the other’s creative dare
- you’ll see exactly how AI edits your writing

This is collaboration:
curiosity, surprise, and seeing how two minds—one human, one digital—play off each other.
Have fun with it.
That’s how this all started.
